Privacy policy
This policy describes the principles applied to the processing of personal data within this demonstration store used to test Magestral agentic-commerce functionality.
Important: this environment is a technical laboratory. Before any production deployment, the merchant must adapt this policy to its legal identity, actual processing activities, service providers, target countries and applicable laws.
Data controller
For this demonstration environment, the data controller is the operator of demo-ps9.magestral.fr.
Requests concerning personal data may be submitted using the contact details and contact methods made available by the store.
Data that may be processed
- first and last name;
- email address;
- telephone number where required;
- shipping and billing addresses;
- cart and checkout information;
- technical session information;
- security, audit and logging data.
Purposes
Personal data may be processed in order to:
- prepare and manage a cart or checkout;
- calculate prices, taxes, discounts and delivery options;
- prepare shipping and billing;
- protect the security, integrity and traceability of operations;
- test and qualify agentic-commerce functionality;
- respond to requests submitted to the merchant;
- comply with applicable legal obligations where required.
Legal bases
Depending on the relevant purpose, processing may be based on the performance or preparation of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, the legitimate interests of the controller or, where required, the consent of the data subject.
Payment data
The Magestral GEO ACP module currently used in this qualification environment keeps real transactional capabilities closed by default.
Current qualification scenarios are not intended to retain opaque payment credentials. Technical test data is limited to what is necessary to qualify the relevant functionality.
Recipients
Personal data is accessible only to persons and services that need it for the relevant purposes and, where applicable, to technical providers strictly necessary for the operation of the store.
A production merchant must identify its actual recipients, processors and any international data transfers.
Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and, where required, for any additional period imposed by applicable legal obligations or necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Temporary personal data created solely for automated laboratory qualification is intended to be deleted after the relevant test scenario when it is no longer required.
Security
Technical and organisational measures are applied to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, alteration, loss or inappropriate use of personal data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, data subjects may have the right to request access to their personal data, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing.
They may also have a right to object, a right to data portability where applicable and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
These rights may be exercised using the contact details provided by the store.
Complaints
Data subjects may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if they believe that their data protection rights have not been respected.
Agentic commerce
This store is also used to test agentic-commerce interactions. Information provided through an agent must only be used for the authorised operation and within the limits necessary for its execution or qualification.
The use of an agent or agentic-commerce protocol does not replace the merchant's obligations relating to personal data protection.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when functionality, processing activities, service providers or regulatory requirements change.
Demonstration environment: before any commercial deployment, this policy must be replaced or completed with the merchant's actual identity, contact details, retention periods, processors and international data-transfer information.
